Girls team is winner of INTER SCHOOL VOLLEY BALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 CONDUCTED BY:MUSHEERABAD SPORTS ASSOCIATION AFFILIATED TO: HYDERABAD DISTRICT VOLLEY BALL ASSOCIATION. Organized from 20th to 26th August 2008 At Eight, young and keen to serve the poor Eight year old Shankar Sai from 4th class studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Begumpet, who wants to become and IAS officer and server the nation, is set to fulfill his dream. He has been chosen as the youngest social ambassador of Indian Development Foundation (IDF) for his profound thoughts.
“I want to become an IAS officer and serve society. I want to help old people and poor who have nowhere to go,”
The IDF inducted the young child as its social ambassador after he bagged the prize for the best essay among young writers, in a contest organized by the office of the state joint director of tuberculosis and IDF. “Young ambassador are really a great source of inspiration,” said Dr Franklin, area manager of IDK. This young ambassador celebrated his Birthday on May 1st.
His Father Ram Krishnan said, “What better present can he gift us on his birthday. He is keen to help the needy. We encourage him in what he does and guide him to do good things. He attends meditation classes and is into several co-curricular activities. Shankar is happy hogging the limelight but does not want to his studies to suffer. He would prefer to engage in social work during his spare time. SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION – CLUSTER LEVEL Social Science Exhibition at Cluster level has been conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya No I Uppal around 50 students have participated.

Sports Award Girls team won the Inter School Volley Ball Championship 2008 conducted by Musheera sports Association affiliated to Hyderabad District Volley Ball Association held from 20th to 26th August. Music Award Pranathi VI has won excellence award on occasion of Sri Norkal Chinna Satyanaraya felicitation function organized by Ragavardhini culture Association held on 22nd August 2008.

CCRT Two of the students have been selected for scholarship. The students have been receiving scholarship for an amount of Rs. 600/- per month from October 2006. They would be receiving scholarship till the completion of 1st year graduation.
NATIONAL AWARD Mas. Himanshu Giri of Class V has won consolation prize in painting competition organized by NTPC, bureau Energy efficiency , Ministry of Power, Govt of India, which was organized at National Level and won a cash award of Rs. 11,000/-
